Mothers Day Card
(Approximately 60p each to make)
You will need:
Scissors
Double sided tape
Foam tape
Gold peel offs
A6 pearl orange card (folded)
Pearl orange layering tablet
Sheet of 12x12 diamond dust 'flutterby stars' paper

Measure and cut a sheet of A5 orange card, then fold in half to
make an A6 card. Cut the 'flutterby stars' paper to the same size
as your orange pearl tablet. You are now ready to make your own
Mothers Day card.
On the reverse of the 'flutterby stars' paper add 2 strips of
double sided tape to the reverse and peel back so sticky.
Position the 'flutterby stars' paper centrally on front of the
A6 orange card and press into place firmly.
Next cut some small squares of foam tape and stick to the back
of the layering tablet.
Position the tablet on top of the 'flutterby stars' paper so you
get the card beneath showing through the cut out. This gives a
3D effect to your card.
Now take a gold peel off butterfly, carefully remove from the
backing.
To make a 3D butterfly stick one butterfly wing down in position
whilst folding back the other. Then take a second gold butterfly
repeating the process. (position one wing on top of the first
butterfly and again folding back the other wing) then taking a
third butterfly again stick down one wing ontop of all other butterflies
which are still folded and stick the last wing to the card.
The result is a 3D golden butterfly. This process takes a steady
hand so take care.
At the top of your card place your gold peel off text in position.
Repeat for the rest of the wording using the gold peel offs.
As a final touch add a smaller butterfly to the bottom right hand
corner of your card.
This is your finished Mothers Day card ready to send to your mum!
